This year and next are vital to the Wallabies' 2023 World Cup prospects.
definitely one of the contenders
Round 1 Predicted Teams: Knights - Five halves options but no standout playmaker, pack lacks punch
Umm no he is not going to the Dragons. Flanagan says yeah we spoke to Matt but nothing eventuated.

Just read that Matt Lodge has signed a train and trial deal with the Dragons. I reckon this is a good deal. He is an ok player who is desperate to play. He is younger than a couple of our other forwards and we would get him for a song. Yep I reckon its a good deal for the Dragons. Who would I let go to sign him longer term? Lawrie …. he is a waste of space. IMO Lodge would give far more effort and upside.

One-hit wonders: From prolific try-scorers to heavyweights and even fighters, the Dragons who never got a second game
Well there you go. It won’t matter a damn what happens in all the games up to Rd 10. The news will be all about Dylan Brown ….. will he or won’t he and with who

I wondered when stories of this type regarding both Brown and Moses would come to light. I suspect that if the Eels have a bad year then both might be saying goodbye. Just remember they both want to win not be also rans.

'Bit of a Hail Mary': Former Wallaby skipper comes out of retirement to sign new pro deal
Ok. If you want to see the world then fine. I f you want to grow yourself as a rugby player then fine. Maybe in a couple of years you want to come back and compete for a Wallabies spot then fine. Please just don’t bleat how you wuz robbed.
Exclusive: 'Fly the coop' - World Cup Wallaby signs with English club as RA loses second forward in as many weeks
IMO the Tigers will rise up the ladder to about 12th. The Eels are my bet for the wooden spoon.
Round 1 Predicted Teams: Tigers - Centre, lock, second row up in the air but Benji's side looks like rising up ladder
I don’t consider Hunt a loss. Hunt got what he wanted in the end. Now the pressure is on him. If you don’t perform Benny the whole of Qld will be on your head. Meanwhile the Dragons can play with a couple of halves where there are few expectations. I also expect a far different game plan for the Dragons. Expect the unexpected.
Point to prove: Each NRL club's man on a mission in 2025
The Eels comments did not mention Mitch Moses. I suspect that young man is going to have to play out of his skin all season for the Eels to be even in the top half of the ladder. As for Tedesco, well he will probably have to do it all and that ain’t gunna happen.

Yeah I wondered too. A bet I wouldn’t take with your money Andrew.

'Shown genuine remorse': Broncos accept NRL's Mam sanctions, hand out monster extra fine
Ahh this is just bu&*sh*&. Mam should be in gaol with at least a 12 month suspension from the NRL. This whole episode is just a farce. Next we will see statements that Mam is a role model for young kids. Please spare me.

Playing Carter Gordon in the backrow would be an absolute waste. He will eventually succeed Foran at half.
