Anyone else notice Gordon shove Wilson out of the way behind the ruck and then get used as a doormat by the Argie #1 as he dove over for what would have been the winning try if Wilson hadn’t reacted quickly to knock the ball out? Could have been costly.

The Wrap on Friday: Call it all the time or not at all - crazy, ridiculous moment we should have seen coming
You seem to be supporting the “dimwits” position by saying he shouldn’t be captain and he is only up to playing for final 20 minutes when the opposition has hopefully been worn down by 60 minutes of test rugby.
Hooper is brave and elite, and changing a captain is momentous, but it's a risk worth taking
I recommend that anyone who has access to STAN have a look at the Player-cam replay for the first test. The first half focused on Wallaby #7, the captain M.Hooper. It was very revealing to see the entirety of his input to that half. I was surprised at the minimal amount of positive influence he had on the game but what was most interesting was seeing his captaincy style – spent a lot of time apparently pondering his own thoughts with minimal interaction with anyone else. Disturbingly, when Banks went down with the broken arm, in spite of there being an obvious issue which took many minutes to resolve MH went nowhere near his injured team-mate. After his sub par effort in test 2 I don’t see what he is bringing to the team. I was glad to see him with the lowest rating of the forward pack – well deserved.
Wallabies DIY player ratings from the 2nd England Test: The Wright stuff and a tough night for JOC
The aspect of Jock C that impresses me is the vision he displays in attack. He seems to have time to pick the gaps and regularly makes good metres around the defence. He adds a spark we haven’t been seeing from the other Aus SR fullbacks. It has been a position of concern for the WBs and I hope he gets a chance to go to that next level of competition.

Incorrect. Did you not watch the first test against Argentina? Wilson captained Wallabies to that win.
They look a pair: Eddie didn't rate him, but All Blacks battle proved Harry Wilson can be the perfect skipper for Joe Schmidt
